May 18: Concert #2, Palacio del Marqués de Dos Aguas, Valencia

May 18: To Valencia, and Rehearsals

Bid goodbye to Barcelona early this morning. Arrived in Valencia, City of the Arts and Sciences, and after lunch went straight to the Conservatory for rehearsals with our host choir. Afterward, we were treated to a merienda (snack—a fine one) by the Conservatory folks.

May 17: Concert #1, Barcelona

Chorale just sang their first concert at Santa María del Mar, Barcelona; the concert was a benefit for the José Carreras Leukemia Foundation. It was spectacularly received. Here are the first shots of the evening. Due to wi-fi issues, I will update this post when I'm in Valencia tomorrow.
